Quotes should be the same across insurance companies.

ALL insurance companies have begun to open up their teaching hospital “discounts” to any agents and advisors. What this means is when you get quotes from different people, they SHOULD be the same across insurance companies. If they are not, be aware that you are being presented with a “watered down” quote just to seem cheaper (they are NOT).

Exception to the Rule

DSQ Advisors has exclusive discounts with local area hospitals.

The exception to this rule is if an advisor has an EXCLUSIVE discount negotiated with an insurance company at a specific hospital. At DSQ Advisors, we leverage all available discounts and we have EXCLUSIVE discounts at the following hospitals: Highland Hospital, UC San Francisco, and UC Irvine.

Locally-Based

Disability insurance quotes are better from a local advisor.

We’ve heard recommendations that you don’t need to work with a locally-based advisor when exploring your disability insurance options. We couldn’t disagree more.
